Demerara Syrup Blend

This is a syrup blend that will give a drink a light and gentle dark sweet notes.


100 g white granulated sugar
50 g demerara sugar
150 g hot water


  • Use a scale.
  • Add both sugars in a small saucepan or measuring cup
  • Add 150g of hot water
  • Stir until thoroughly dissolved.
  • Let cool, then store in a container.
  • Keep refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.
